Terms of Service
Effective date: June 8, 2026
These Terms govern your access to and use of AppSlides, including AI carousel generation, TikTok publishing, and related platform features.
1. Agreement to these Terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of AppSlides, operated by AppSlides, available at https://appslides.com (the "Service"). By accessing or using the Service, creating an account, connecting a TikTok account, uploading content, or clicking to accept these Terms, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not access or use the Service. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent and warrant that you have authority to bind that organization, and "you" refers to both you individually and that organization.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction, to create an account and use the Service. If you are under the age of majority, you may use the Service only with the consent and supervision of a parent or legal guardian who accepts these Terms on your behalf.
You represent that you have the legal capacity and authority to enter into these Terms, that any TikTok accounts you connect are owned or properly authorized by you, and that your use of the Service complies with all applicable laws, regulations, and platform policies.
We may refuse service, suspend access, or terminate accounts at our discretion where we believe eligibility requirements are not met.
3. Description of the Service
AppSlides provides tools to create and manage marketing knowledge profiles for apps and websites, connect TikTok creator accounts, generate AI-assisted TikTok image carousel drafts, review and revise content, schedule or publish posts through official TikTok APIs, import existing TikTok posts, and view performance analytics.
The Service may include beta, experimental, or preview features. Features may change, be added, or be removed at any time. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, error-free operation, or compatibility with every TikTok account type, region, or API capability.
We are not a law firm, advertising agency, compliance consultant, or guaranteed-results marketing provider. The Service is a software tool only.
4. Accounts and security
You must provide accurate, current, and complete registration information and keep it updated. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account, whether or not authorized by you.
You must safeguard your login credentials and notify us promptly at support@appslides.com if you suspect unauthorized access. We are not liable for losses arising from unauthorized use of your account where you failed to maintain reasonable security.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that appear compromised, fraudulent, abusive, or inactive for extended periods, subject to applicable law.
6. User content and data
"User Content" means all information, text, images, logos, screenshots, project descriptions, brand rules, compliance notes, prompts, feedback, and other materials you submit to the Service, as well as outputs generated at your request.
You retain ownership of your User Content, subject to the licenses below. You represent and warrant that:
- You own or have all necessary rights, licenses, and permissions to submit and use User Content.
- Your User Content does not infringe intellectual property, privacy, publicity, or other rights of any person or entity.
- Your User Content complies with applicable laws and platform policies.
- You have obtained all consents required for personal data contained in User Content.
You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, modify, adapt, translate, display, perform, distribute, and otherwise use User Content solely as necessary to operate, provide, secure, improve, and support the Service, including AI processing, publishing to TikTok, generating derivative drafts, creating backups, and displaying content back to you.
You grant us the right to use aggregated and de-identified data derived from User Content and Service usage for analytics, benchmarking, and product improvement, provided it does not identify you or your end users.
7. AI-generated content
The Service uses artificial intelligence to generate and revise marketing copy, image concepts, and carousel assets. AI outputs may be inaccurate, misleading, offensive, non-compliant, or unsuitable for your audience.
You must review all AI-generated content before approval, scheduling, or publishing. You are solely responsible for verifying factual accuracy, disclosure requirements, intellectual property clearance, comparative claims, health/finance/legal claims, endorsements, sweepstakes rules, and all other advertising and consumer protection obligations.
We do not guarantee that AI outputs are original, non-infringing, or free from prohibited content. Similar outputs may be generated for other users.
8. Acceptable use
You agree not to, and not to allow others to:
- Use the Service for unlawful, fraudulent, deceptive, or harmful purposes.
- Publish or generate content that violates TikTok Community Guidelines, advertising policies, or applicable law.
- Upload malware, attempt unauthorized access, probe or scan systems, or interfere with Service integrity or performance.
- Reverse engineer, decompile, scrape, or attempt to extract source code, models, or non-public APIs except where prohibited restrictions are unenforceable by law.
- Circumvent usage limits, account limits, authentication, billing controls, or security measures.
- Resell, sublicense, or provide unauthorized access to the Service except as expressly permitted in writing.
- Use the Service to spam, harass, impersonate others, or collect personal data without lawful basis.
- Submit content containing illegal material, hate speech, exploitation, or content that infringes third-party rights.
- Misrepresent AI-generated content as human-created where disclosure is required by law or platform policy.
- Use the Service in regulated industries in a manner that violates sector-specific rules without appropriate safeguards and approvals.
We may investigate violations and remove content, disable features, or terminate accounts without prior notice where necessary to protect users, platforms, or the public.
9. Third-party platform compliance
Your use of TikTok, Apple, Google, app stores, and any destination linked from generated content is governed by those parties' separate terms and policies. You are responsible for complying with them at all times.
If a platform changes API terms, deprecates features, or restricts your account, affected Service functionality may stop working without liability to us.
10. Usage limits and fair use
The Service may impose limits such as a maximum of 10 connected TikTok accounts per user, 10 projects per TikTok account, limits on uploaded reference assets, carousel slide counts, generation frequency, storage quotas, API rate limits, and concurrent jobs.
Limits may change as the product evolves. Excessive or abusive usage that degrades Service performance for others may result in throttling, suspension, or additional fees if disclosed for paid plans.
11. Fees, billing, and taxes
Some features may currently be free or offered as placeholders for future paid plans. If we introduce paid subscriptions or usage-based billing, we will present applicable prices and terms before charging you.
Unless otherwise stated, fees are non-refundable except where required by law. You are responsible for all applicable taxes, duties, and government charges associated with your purchases.
Failure to pay applicable fees may result in suspension or downgrade of access. We may change pricing on reasonable notice for future billing periods.
12. Our intellectual property
The Service, including software, design, branding, documentation, workflows, and all related intellectual property, is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by applicable laws. Except for the limited rights expressly granted in these Terms, no rights are transferred to you.
You may not use our name, logos, or trademarks without prior written permission, except as necessary to describe your lawful use of the Service.
13. Feedback
If you submit suggestions, ideas, or feedback, you grant us a perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide, royalty-free license to use that feedback for any purpose without compensation or attribution, except where prohibited by law.
14. Privacy
Our collection and use of personal information is described in our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
15. Third-party services
The Service integrates with third-party providers such as Supabase, Google Gemini, TikTok, Apple, Google, hosting providers, and payment processors. Your use of those services may be subject to their own terms. We are not responsible for third-party services outside our reasonable control.
16. Disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, STATUTORY, OR OTHERWISE, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, AND ANY WARRANTIES ARISING FROM COURSE OF DEALING OR USAGE OF TRADE.
WITHOUT LIMITING THE FOREGOING, WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF HARMFUL COMPONENTS; THAT AI OUTPUTS WILL BE ACCURATE, COMPLETE, OR LEGALLY COMPLIANT; THAT TIKTOK PUBLISHING WILL SUCCEED; OR THAT ANY PARTICULAR MARKETING RESULTS, REACH, ENGAGEMENT, REVENUE, OR ROI WILL BE ACHIEVED.
Some jurisdictions do not allow exclusion of certain warranties, so some of the above exclusions may not apply to you.
17. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT WILL WE OR OUR AFFILIATES, OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, SUPPLIERS, OR LICENSORS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, GOODWILL, BUSINESS OPPORTUNITY, OR REPUTATION, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICE, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US FOR THE SERVICE IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM, OR (B) ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS (USD $100).
The limitations in this section apply to all theories of liability, including contract, tort, negligence, strict liability, and statutory claims, except where prohibited by law. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited, including liability for fraud, willful misconduct, or death or personal injury caused by negligence where such limitation is not permitted.
18. Indemnification
You will defend, indemnify, and hold harmless AppSlidesand its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, contractors, and agents from and against any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to:
- Your User Content or published TikTok content.
- Your use or misuse of the Service.
- Your violation of these Terms, applicable law, or third-party rights.
- Your connected TikTok accounts, campaigns, or marketing claims.
- Disputes between you and your customers, audience, or platform partners.
We may assume exclusive defense and control of any matter subject to indemnification, and you agree to cooperate with our defense.
19. Suspension and termination
You may stop using the Service at any time and may request account deletion through available settings or by contacting support.
We may suspend or terminate your access immediately, with or without notice, if you breach these Terms, create risk or legal exposure for us, fail to pay fees, or if we discontinue the Service. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases, but sections that by their nature should survive will survive, including ownership, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnification, dispute resolution, and governing law.
20. Copyright and takedown policy
We respect intellectual property rights. If you believe content on the Service infringes your copyright, send a notice to legal@appslides.com including:
- Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed.
- Identification of the material claimed to be infringing and information reasonably sufficient to locate it.
- Your contact information and a statement of good-faith belief that use is not authorized.
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information is accurate and that you are authorized to act on behalf of the owner.
- Your physical or electronic signature.
We may remove or disable access to disputed material and terminate repeat infringers where appropriate.
21. Export and sanctions compliance
You may not use the Service in violation of export control, sanctions, or trade restriction laws. You represent that you are not located in, organized under the laws of, or ordinarily resident in a jurisdiction subject to comprehensive sanctions, and that you are not a prohibited party under applicable sanctions lists.
22. Force majeure
We are not liable for delay or failure to perform due to events beyond our reasonable control, including internet outages, cloud provider failures, third-party API changes, labor disputes, natural disasters, war, terrorism, civil unrest, government actions, or pandemics.
23. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of Romania, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where mandatory consumer protection laws in your jurisdiction require otherwise.
Except where prohibited by law, any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service will be resolved exclusively in the courts located in Romania, and you consent to personal jurisdiction in those courts.
If you are a consumer in the European Union, you may also have the right to bring claims in your country of residence and to use applicable online dispute resolution mechanisms.
Before filing a formal claim, you agree to contact us at legal@appslides.com and attempt to resolve the dispute informally within thirty (30) days.
24. Class action waiver
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, YOU AND WE AGREE THAT EACH MAY BRING CLAIMS AGAINST THE OTHER ONLY IN AN INDIVIDUAL CAPACITY AND NOT AS A PLAINTIFF OR CLASS MEMBER IN ANY PURPORTED CLASS, COLLECTIVE, REPRESENTATIVE, OR PRIVATE ATTORNEY GENERAL PROCEEDING.
If this waiver is found unenforceable as to a particular claim or jurisdiction, that claim or jurisdiction will be severed and the remainder will continue in effect.
25. Miscellaneous
